At Kwara United, Head Coach Tunde Sanni became the second casualty after the club’s elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup against Asante Kotoko in Abeokuta.
Despite delivering the first major trophy in the club’s history - the President Federation Cup last season; Sanni had reportedly been under pressure due to inconsistent domestic form.

Fans’ Reacts: “Respect the Profession”
Football fans have condemned the wave of early-season dismissals, urging club administrators to uphold contractual agreements and exercise patience with their coaches.
A fan said, “The league is a marathon, not a sprint. It is unfair and counterproductive to dismiss coaches after just seven matches. Stability breeds success.”
With the NPFL season still in its early stages, the recent managerial changes highlight the growing impatience among club owners and the increasing pressure for immediate results on the Nigerian top-flight sidelines.
