Following the resounding success of the 2025 AAG Capital Presidents Cup held in November, the Ibadan Polo Club is once again opening its gates for another exciting and heart-warming event designed to bring families, friends and polo lovers together during the festive season.
This time, the club’s dynamic executive committee is rolling out the “Homecoming Festival”, a thoughtfully curated two-day celebration that blends the elegance of polo with fun-filled activities specially created for children and families. The festival is designed to offer kids a safe, vibrant, and joyful environment while parents relax, socialize, and soak in the beauty of the sport.
The Homecoming Festival will feature four polo teams; Reindeer Riders, Elf Express, Santa Strikers, and Snowflake Squad; as they compete for honours, trophies and special recognitions in a lively and entertaining atmosphere.
Scheduled to hold from December 26th to 27th, 2025, the event will take place at the familiar and serene Ibadan Polo Club, Eleyele, with activities commencing daily from 3:00 PM.
For parents, the festival presents a rare opportunity to spend quality holiday time with their children in a secure and well-organized setting. Young guests will enjoy unlimited fun through a variety of attractions, including bouncy castles, face painting, slides, and delightful treats such as cotton candy, popcorn, sweet snacks and more, ensuring two unforgettable days of laughter and excitement.
Adults are equally catered for, with relaxation and recreation areas featuring snooker and air hockey games, creating a perfect balance of leisure, entertainment, and social interaction.
Beyond polo, the Homecoming Festival is a full-blown family celebration, proudly supported by reputable partners such as BUA Group, Lazy G Ranch & Resorts, Bemil Security, and the royal backing of The Onijinmo of Ijimo-Ijesha, Oba Jacob Oyebola Babadiya, Esan III.
The Ibadan Polo Club has assured all attendees of maximum security, alongside standard welfare and professional medical services, guaranteeing peace of mind for parents and a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone.
As the Yuletide season approaches, polo lovers, families and fun-seekers are encouraged to keep the date and be part of this special Homecoming Festival, an event designed to create lasting memories, strengthen bonds and make the holiday season truly memorable in the city of Ibadan.
