ILAJI FC/SWIEQI UTD CONCLUDE COACHING EDUCATION, BEGIN SCOUTING SESSION

A two-day coaching education organized by the management of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort has been concluded. The coaching education, which took place at the mini conference hall, had over 50 local coaches nationwide as participants.
The 2023 edition, powered by Engineer Chief Dotun Sanusi, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Football Club in conjunction with Swieqi United Football Club was also witnessed by the president of Swieqi United FC Dr Justin Fenech from Malta.
The first phase, which started on July 12 and concluded on July 13 focused on ways of methodology, training sessions, possession, formations and physical training while the second phase [Scouting Session] is expected to commence tomorrow, July 14 and will end July 15.
The Coaching Education, tutored by UEFA A holder and Swieqi United Technical Director Billy Mock, Pablo Doffo, the Head Coach for Swieqi United Senior Men Team and UEFA A licence Coach and football legend Claude Mattocks.
The 51 grassroot coaches who participated in the workshop greatly appreciated the initiative saying it was an opportunity to learn and grow.
Meanwhile, scouting session begins tomorrow at the football pitch at 8am with over twenty registered teams. The teams Hammola Int'l FC, Ambassador FA, Edufoot Sports Academy, Agra FA, Emiloju FC, HOM FA, JCJ FA, Sanusi Boys FC, Olugbade FC, Ilaji FC, G-Ranking FC, Future Stars 99, TIS Football Academy, Positive Football Academy, Dolly P Sports Academy Ilorin, Grace FC, Mubeen FC, Offa FC, Favours FC, Home of Ballers FC and Real IFON FC
