Shooting Stars management led by the club general manager Dimeji Lawal Mohammed fondly called Kabongo and the senior team Technical Adviser, Coach Gbenga Ogunbote 'The Oracle' have heaped plaudits on the management and organisers of Ilaji FC/Swieqi United FC Coaching Education program for organizing a top notch coaching clinic, which took place at the mini conference hall on Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort.
Speaking at the closing ceremony and presentation of certificates to over fifty participants, Kabongo said the two-day coaching education was an eye opener to learn more especially from top-notch foreign instructors who had been in the game for decades.
"Today, we have learnt more and added to what we used to know from the delegation from Malta, I'm extremely happy to have them around to impact knowledge to us and I believe the partnership with Ilaji will not stop here. Football is an interesting game but very wide and this is the reason we need to keep learning."
In his short address, Technical Adviser of Shooting Stars, Coach Gbenga Ogunbote also expressed satisfaction with the effort of Ilaji FC/Swieqi United FC in enhancing the capacity of football coaches
and praised them for driving the lofty initiative that will in no doubt helped coaches to further achieve thier dreams. He congratulated the beneficiaries and believed lessons learnt from the coaching education would guide them to be better on their jobs.
