Crown FC Gaffer Bemoans Fixtures Congestion, Says Team Faces A Must Win Fixture

Crown FC head coach, Oladunni Oyekale, has said the management of the Nigeria National League does not care about the fixture congestion facing clubs competing at the second tier league.

Oyekale is angry that his team play at Anambra state over the weekend against Godosky at noon on Saturday, after his initial dissatisfaction fixtures against Ibom Youth and FC One Rocket.

The team will again host Bayelsa United this Wednesday at the Maracana stadium LAUTECH Sports Complex Ogbomoso another NNL Matchday 11 encounter

Speaking at his post match conference over the weekend, the former Gombe united coach told the media that league body should please help clubs and players in the way they scheduled fixtures that wouldn't affect good performances, away results and ultimately the glamour of football.

Crown FC are presently 7th on the log after eleven matches, their home draw against FC One Rocket temporarily dented their quest for promotion.

"We played 11 matches in less than nine weeks and it's not getting better. I don't understand how we (all clubs) don't have any help in relation to back to back fixtures. This is affecting player's performances, Oyekale stated."

Manwhile, Oyekale believes his side will bounce back to winning ways in this midweek match against former NPFL giant, Bayelsa united.

"It's a must, we have no excuse. The fans are not happy, I assure them good result come this Wednesday."
