Crown FC of Ogbomoso head coach Raheem Tajudeen has played down his team's start to the season by insisting that the Ajilete Warriors are "far from perfection".
The Ogbomoso based side have enjoyed a perfect start to their promotion target campaign thus far this season with two wins in two matches. FC One Rocket were the first victim at Ogbomoso last weekend, followed by International Lagos FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos. Yet, Raheem Tajudeen feels there is still much more room for improvement.
Raheem Tajudeen believes that his side will continue to improve throughout the campaign.
"We are far from perfection because no one is perfect except Almighty Allah. We try to improve every day. We did that today. There are always new aspects coming into our game. At Ogbomoso last weekend, the players were jittery in front of goals and we wasted many good chances, today, we had few chances and we converted two to seal the match."
"At the first half, we were not too impressive, the players didn't play to instructions and at the second half, we try to work on their wing players, penetrate into thier half."
"Honestly, It wasn't easy to win here, big kudos to my goalkeeper, Joseph Onwuga for his sterling performance, he had many saves and to God be the glory, we won. We still need to work on some areas going into the next match against Gateway United. This will be done during the training session this week and hopefully, we get better in every match."
"Our next match is against Gateway United, they came to Ogbomoso last season and got three points, it will be tough but we shall continue to put smiles on the faces of our fans by winning the match."
