OYO FA THROWS WEIGHT BEHIND NEWLY APPOINTED CROWN FC BOSS

The Chairman, Oyo State Football Association, Oba James Odeniran, has pledged his full support to the newly appointed general manager of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso, Mr Olamide Ilupeju.
A statement issued on Friday by the association secretary Mr Kehinde Adebayo Ojelowo stated that Oba James Odeniran made the pledge when he hosted the new leadership of the club in his palace.
Oba Odeniran commended the vision, zeal, passion as well as dedication of Mr Olamide Ilupeju since his appointment after he was officially announced by the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Miss Wasilat Adegoke.
In his words, Oba Odeniran assured that the state football governing body will give maximum support to the entire management of Crown FC in order to achieve success and secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
"Crown FC is my baby, even before your appointment, my enitre executive board are fully behind the club, past administration and general managers. Our dream is to see you at the premier league and I can assure you that this will be achieved during time."
"I was told you've had meetings with the commissioner, supporter's club, staff and grassroots coaches. It is a good step in the right direction. I will also advise you to be professional and do everything humanly possible to motivate the players, the welfare of the players should be your upmost priority."
"I also want to advise you to build solid relationships with the supporter's club, fans, the Oyo state sports writers association and other major stakeholders. God in His own wisdom will direct and see you through."
