NNL24: CROWN FC CRUSHES INTER FC IN LAGOS, MAINTAINS TOP SPOT

Crown FC of Ogbomoso this afternoon secure first away win over the Nigeria National League debutant Inter Lagos FC by two goals to one at matchday two of the 2023/2024 NNL campaign. The Ajilete Warriors were in control of the game in the first twenty minutes until the homers capitalised on Erasmus's mistake at the middle to lunch a counter which resulted to goal at the 26th minute.
Captain of the Ogbomoso based side, Ugochukwu Anozie who got injured at the first half couldn't continue the second part of the encounter as he was replaced by Obi Onwueke.
At the second half, Crown FC Joseph Onwuga stood firm between the sticks for forty minutes after making four saves for the warriors.
As the game gets tougher towards the end, Crown FC reignited their never say die spirit as Kamorudeen Ogunjobi's freekick was well nodded in by Temitope Folarin at the 85th minute.
Exactly 90 minutes on dot, the Ajilete Warriors grabbed the winner courtesy of Adekunle Mojeed. It ended 2-1 in favour of Crown FC on away soil.
