ORGANIZERS UNVEIL PLANS FOR MAIDEN ILAJI GOLDEN CUP

The management of Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort has rolled out plans for the maiden edition of Ilaji Golden Cup 2022 billed to start 1st of December, 2022.
The plan will see 16 as yet unnamed clubs within and outside Oyo state competing in four different groups for one trophy.
The competition, organized by Ilaji Resort and Ilaji Sports under the chairmanship of Chief, Engr Dotun Sanusi has announced Twenty Thousand naira (#20,000) for registration form while winners and runner's up will be rewarded with cash prizes.
Narrating the procedure to OyoSportsNews, Ilaji FC Manager and Head Coach, Babatunde Odubola 'Ziko' hinted that registration forms are on sale between November 10 - November 30 while the competition is scheduled to start 1st of December to 10th of December. He added that there will be awards for Most Valuable Player, Best Coach of the Tournament, Highest Goal Scorer, and Best Goal Keeper.
"The competition will start between 1st of December and 10th of December, it is aimed to develop and promote football in Oyo state and its neighbouring states. The competition is not a Scouting Tournament or programme, it a competition with 16 teams into four groups and teams will be rewarded with cash monies."
"Forms are available for interested teams at Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort, Akanran for Twenty Thousand naira only (#20,000). By the grace of God, all hands are on deck to make ensure we have a hitch free ever and as you all know, Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort will not disappoint you." He assured.
