FIFA WORLD CUP: MY VISIT TO QATAR WILL TAKE 'IFA' TO ANOTHER LEVEL - BAR ROTIMI ALLI

The Ibadan Football Association (IFA) Chairman, Barrister Rotimi Alli, who arrived Qatar last weekend on private capacity for Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup has assured that his visit to host Nation Qatar will further help his administration as the Chairman of Ibadan Football Association.
Barrister Rotimi Alli, the Mogaji of Ile Alli Balogun Oja'ba Ibadan said coming to Qatar for the mundial will serve as an added advantage and great experience on how football league should be organized properly most especially in areas such as security, media and publicity, arrangements and business wise.
"Attending the biggest football tournament in the world will surely help in many areas. It gives one more information about how competitions are organised at the highest level. Football is beyond what we see in Nigeria; and, Qatar 2022 is another eye opener for anyone who want to run or own a professional football club. As a football administrator, Qatar 2022 World Cup is a complete guide on how proper structures are to be put in place before, during and after any football league, tournament or competition."
"I believe in three 'Es'. The 'Experience, Exposure and Education' The three 'Es' are very important in any project. Part of the experience is that Qatar has taken ticketing to another level with the e-ticket. Ticket is only activated at the stadium on the day of the game, it means football has become a lucrative business, it is beyond eleven versus eleven on the pitch."
Following a recent improvement at the Ibadan Football Association (IFA) League under his administration, 'Libero', as fondly called by his teammates, fans and co-football administrators in Nigeria said part of his plans for the new IFA League 2022/23 season is to meet with parents, government ministers, professional club owners, business leaders, private companies on how football business can help improve Nigeria economy.
Barrister Rotimi Alli believed if enough facilities are properly put in place and maintained, private sponsors will definitely show interest in developing football and other sports.
He, however, assured football lovers within and outside Oyo state of more innovation, excellent football season that will attract private sponsors from industries, companies and partners at any football event organized under Ibadan Football Association (IFA).
