OGUNBOTE MOURS LATE 3SC ASSISTANT COACH, OLOWOKERE

Former Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) Technical Adviser Gbenga Ogunbote, has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden passing of the club’s Assistant Coach, Akin Olowokere.
In a condolence message to the 3SC family, Ogunbote described Olowokere’s death as “very saddening and heart-wrenching,” noting that his passion, dedication, and leadership would always be remembered.
“I pray God gives you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and comfort at this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May his memory and legacy continue to inspire the team,” Ogunbote said.
Olowokere, who was recently unveiled as 3SC’s Assistant Coach, reportedly slumped during a training session and passed away while being rushed to the hospital.

The Oluyole Warriors, after their qualification to round 32 early this morning without kicking the ball, following the refusal of Zamfara United FC to show up for the round of 64 fixture at the Area 3 field, Abuja have been expelled from the oldest football competition in Nigeria. In a letter signed by the director for competition, Ruth David, on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation General Secretary. Five players who were not registered with the Nigeria Football Federation for this year edition were fielded in today's match against Zamfara United.
