NNL25: CROWN FC GM CALLS FOR TOTAL SUPPORT AHEAD REMAINING FIXTURES

The General Manager of Crown FC of Ogbomoso, Mr Olamide Ilupeju has called on fans, supporters, football lovers, sons and daughters of Ogbomosoland alongside other neighbouring towns to show massive supports to the club as the 2024/25 Nigeria National League gradually wings down.
The Ogbomoso based side currently occupies fourth position on the conference A standings with 27points behind Warri Wolves, Smart City FC and Inter Lagos FC. The Ajilete Warriors are left with two crucial home fixtures against the table leaders Warri Wolves and Inter Lagos and a trip to Enugu against Ijele FC.
Olamide Ilupeju fondly called Ortega told OyoSportsNews that their fans and supporters have been marvellous since the start of the season and that they have not given up on their Super 8 play-off aspiration and promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League.
In his words; "I am writing to rally our loyal supporters, fans, and spectators to join us in our quest for success. With three crucial matches remaining, our team is focused on securing the necessary results to qualify for the prestigious Super 8 games."
"I urge everyone associated with Crown Football Club to demonstrate their unwavering support for the team during these critical fixtures. Your presence, enthusiasm, and encouragement will undoubtedly play a significant role in motivating our players to achieve their best.
"By winning our remaining three matches, we can realize our goal of Super 8 qualification and make a strong statement about our team's capabilities. I have every confidence that, together, we can achieve this objective and bring pride to our club."
Crown FC will host Inter Lagos FC this Saturday at 3pm at the Soun stadium, Ogbomoso. A win for the Ayodeji Ayeni tutored side will see them with 30points above Smart City and Inter Lagos FC on the log.

AA AZTEC FOOTBALL ACADEMY STORMS PORTUGAL FOR A MONTH SCOUTING PROGRAMME

The delegation made up of 10 players and three officials left the shores of Nigeria via a flight from the international wing of the Muritala Mohammad Airport on Tuesday for Lisbon. Prince Ademola Olawepo Shennowo, President of the fast-growing football academy gave an insight into the programme details.  "The scouting program in Portugal is tagged Club Athlectico Trial and it will run for one month. OyoSportsNews can exclusively confirmed that Iseyin United have forfeited thier victory over the Asabari Warriors for fielding ineligible player, resulting from passport photograph alteration. In its ruling on Saturday afternoon, after thorough investigation by the Disciplinary Committee of the 2024 Oyo State Jubril Dotun Sanusi Football League, set up by the Oyo State Football Association. The committee has awarded victory to Saki United FC.
