GATEWAY GAMES: OUR ATHLETES WON'T DISAPPOINT IN ABEOKUTA, YUSSUF ADEBISI ASSURES

Honourable Member representing Ibadan Southwest 1 State Constituency, Oyo State House of Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on Youth and Sports, Hon Yusuf Adebisi is optimistic that the state contingent at the on-going 22nd National Sports Festival tagged Gateway Games " will do the pace setters' state proud.
301 athletes will fly the states' flag at the 22nd edition in 32 sporting events including, boxing, tennis, weightlifting, wrestling, handball, gymnastics, judo, chess, swimming, volleyball, Scrabble, Taekwondo, karate, golf, athletics and others.
Hon Yusuf Adebisi told OyoSportsNews at the opening ceremony held yesterday at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta that the athletes had undergone intensive training and were well motivated with the minimum wage increment approved by the state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde.
He's optimistic that the athletes will perform optimally when hostilities begin across game centres in Ogun state.
