PELLER UNITY CUP SEASON II FINAL HOLDS SEPT 24

The stage is set for the final match of the second edition of Peller Unity Cup (PUC) Season II involving Iseyin City and Iseyin United.
Recall that the final date was postponed twice as a result of; Ramadan period and the transition of a prominent traditional ruler, the Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Abdulganiyu Salawudeen, who joined his ancestors on July 24, 2022.
OyoSportsNews reliably gathered that final match will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the NYSC camp, Iseyin in Oke Ogun area of Oyo State.
At the semi final stage, Iseyin City outclassed Itesiwaju Lions with a 3-1 win while Itesiwaju Rangers were condemned by two unreplied goals by Iseyin United to set up the all-Iseyin cup final.
Activities lined up for the programme are mega musical concert featuring celebrity artists as well as grassroots and upcoming artists to commemorate the late renowned magician, Professor Moshood Abiola Peller and remembrance prayers 'Salat Al-Janazah' at Iseyin District Grammar School, Iseyin, Oyo state.
According to Hon Shina Abiola Peller, a member of the Federal House of Representative - representing the [Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Iwajowa, Kajola Federal Constituency in Oyo State] -The winner of this second edition will go home with #700,000 while second runner-up will settle for #500,000. Teams at the losers final will also get #250,000 and #100,000 respectively.
