Shooting Stars will continue thier preparations for the Nigeria Professional Football League 2022/2023 in Ibadan after the impromptu pre-season tourney in Ikenne, Ogun state.
The Oluyole Warriors took part at the just concluded maiden edition of Value Jet Cup Pre-season Tournament 2022 in Ikenne, Ogun state but failed to register a win in four matches.
Shooting Stars lost to Vandrezzer FC, Ijebu United, Remo Stars and played a goalless draw with Plataeu United. The Ibadan Soccer Lords will now continue thier preparations in Ibadan this week.
OyoSportsNews exclusively gathered that Gbenga Ogunbote and his boys are likely to resume training session in Ibadan tomorrow but not at the Lekan Salami stadium. The Oluyole Warriors are also expected to take part at the 10th edition of Gold Cup Pre-season Tournament scheduled to start soon.

The Oluyole Warriors, after their qualification to round 32 early this morning without kicking the ball, following the refusal of Zamfara United FC to show up for the round of 64 fixture at the Area 3 field, Abuja have been expelled from the oldest football competition in Nigeria. In a letter signed by the director for competition, Ruth David, on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation General Secretary. Five players who were not registered with the Nigeria Football Federation for this year edition were fielded in today's match against Zamfara United. AA AZTEC FOOTBALL ACADEMY STORMS PORTUGAL FOR A MONTH SCOUTING PROGRAMME

The delegation made up of 10 players and three officials left the shores of Nigeria via a flight from the international wing of the Muritala Mohammad Airport on Tuesday for Lisbon. Prince Ademola Olawepo Shennowo, President of the fast-growing football academy gave an insight into the programme details.  "The scouting program in Portugal is tagged Club Athlectico Trial and it will run for one month. "Our technical coaching staff have selected the best for the programme after the 10 talents had undergone intense training to develop their football skills and prepare them for the highest level in games and tournaments against other top football academies in and out of Ibadan." OyoSportsNews can exclusively confirmed that Iseyin United have forfeited thier victory over the Asabari Warriors for fielding ineligible player, resulting from passport photograph alteration. In its ruling on Saturday afternoon, after thorough investigation by the Disciplinary Committee of the 2024 Oyo State Jubril Dotun Sanusi Football League, set up by the Oyo State Football Association. The committee has awarded victory to Saki United FC. The Asabari Warriors will now face FC Young Stars International at the final while Iseyin United will face A.A Aztec for the third place match on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Akanran Ibadan.
