By Oluseyi Adedire Twitter/Instagram: @oyosportsnews FB: Oyo Sports Update A total of 320 athletes and officials in 101 sports left the city of Ibadan, for the 22nd National Sports Festival tagged ‘Gateway Games 2024’ which starts in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital on Sunday with an opening ceremony. The athletes are taekwondoists, weightlifters, table tennis players, swimmers, judokas, boxers, gymnasts, golfers, volleyball players, and among others. The athletes who have been training for the Gateway Games were in high spirits as they departed Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan on Friday morning in convoy to Ogun state. Team Oyo will be competing in 32 sporting events including, football, boxing, tennis, weightlifting, wrestling, handball, gymnastics, judo, chess, swimming, volleyball, Scrabble, Taekwondo, karate, golf, athletics and others.
