BOLUWATIFE OGUNGBAYI DONATES SOCCER BALLS TO ILAJI FC

SK Slavia Prague player Boluwatife Ogungbayi has donated high-quality footballs to his former club, Ilaji Football Club, a few months after extending his contract with the seven-time Czech First League champions.
Recall that the relaible goal poacher, who enjoyed his career Ilaji FC with over fifty goals; on November 2023 put pen to paper on a new deal with Slavia Prague, an agreement that will keep him until June 30, 2028.
At his debut season, he scored six goals in ten matches for Slavia B, ten goals in eighteen appearances for the U19s and also featured five times for the first team, including his European debut in a 6-0 rout of Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League.
Boluwatife Ogungbayi, who paid a surprise visit to Ilaji FC during the yuletide break last year December told OyoSportsNews from his base that the donation is a little way of giving back to the club who discovered and harnessed his potentials to stardom with determination to do more.
While receiving the socccer balls on behalf of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort Chief Engineer Dotun Sanusi; Sports Manager of the club, Coach Babatunde Odubola fondly called Zico told OyoSportsNews that the gesture is highly appreciated and commendable by a former player who set fourteen goals league record at the 2022 Nationwide League One.
Zico added that the gestures are also to encourage other players who had left the club for greener pastures and charge others seeking foreign deals not to relent in pursuing their dreams.
