1ST PRINCE OLADIMEJI ROYAL FOOTBALL FINAL HOLDS TOMORROW, FRIDAY IN OYO

All is now set for the final match of the maiden edition of Prince Dahood Olaide Oladimeji Agunloye Royal Football Competition tagged "Royal Cup 2024" tomorrow, Friday, September 6th, 2024 at the Durbar stadium, Oyo.
According to the organiser of the grassroots football competition, Team Oladimeji/HYZIK Media Concept Nigeria, invitations have been sent to notable personalities among whom are the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adefemi Adegoke, Ex-internationals such as Mutiu Adepoju 'Headmaster', Oladimeji Lawal 'Kabongo'. Former Super Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper, Ike Shorunmu.
Other notable personalities invited are laji FC Sports Manager, Babatunde Odubola fondly called Zico and Coach Duke Udi [MON].
Organisers told OyoSportsNews that the 'Oyomesi' are the Royal guest for the grand final while members of the Nigeria Football Coaches and Referees and major football stakeholders in Oyo are also expected to grace the final event.
In a third place match held yesterday at Durbar stadium, Vipers FC from Ilora pipped Yemite FC, Oyo by alone goal while final match will hold between Oladimeji FC, Ibadan and D'Way Up FC from Oyo at 3:00pm.
Prince Dahood Olaide Oladimeji Agunloye in chat with OyoSportsNews said that the organisers have concluded plan to organise a memorable closing ceremony. He said the competition was put together to develop and promote grassroot football in Oyo town and beyond.
"The final is going to be an exciting final because we have put everything in place to make the final a memorable one. We are expecting a full house and I am happy that all our invited guests have promised to grace the occasion". He said.
