OYO SPORTS COMMISSIONER INSPECTS SOUN STADIUM

In line with his commitment to the speedy completion of the on-going renovation of sports infrastructures accross the state, the Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development in Oyo state, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke on Saturday afternoon inspected Soun Stadium, Ogbomoso to asses the level of work, with an assurance that the remaining work will be completed on schedule.
Speaking after an inspection tour of the facilities, Honourable Wasilat said, “Although there are some areas that needed adjustment and construction to avoid fans encroachment but I'm satisfied with the progress so far."
"There are underbellies of technologies like the water sprinklers among others because a modern football pitch is beyond sand and grasses. We must find easiest means that will ensure the pitch enjoy enough water both dry and rain seasons. Maintenance is very key, so we are trying to get things right with proper maintenance even during off season." She concluded.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
