ANTHONY ENCHO RESIGNS AS IJEBU UNITED HEAD COACH

Anthony Encho has resigned as Ijebu United Head Coach - five months after joining the Nigeria National League side. Echo's era officially ended Tuesday, only five months after he joined the club on August  8, 2023.
Anthony Encho, who left Crown FC of Ogbomoso last year for Ijebu United told OyoSportsNews that his decision is 'personal and professional'.
During his short time with Ijebu United, Encho lost 1-0 to Beyond Limits at the final of the 2023 Optima Gold Cup Pre-season tournament.
The 48-year-old's final league match at the ongoing Nigeria National League 2023/2024 campaign ended 1-0 loss to Osun United at Osogbo. Ijebu United currently occupied 5th position on the group B2 standings with two wins and a draw.
Echo, UEFA B licence and graduate of Advance Diploma at the National Institute for Sports, Lagos.
