LEGENDARY MUSIC STARS CONFIRM PARTICIPATION IN OYOKUN SEASON 8

A prominent broadcaster and highly-regarded Nigerian music producer and gospel singer, Dr Olayinka Joel Ayefele MON, the founder of Fresh FM Nigeria, Tiwan Tiwan FM and the Blast FM network of radio stations in southwestern Nigeria has officially confirmed his participation for the Season 8 of Oyokun Diplomatic Day 2025, OyoSportsNews reports.
The Ekiti Cultural Ambassador while receiving the organiser of the July 29 Season 8 of Oyokun Diplomatic Day in his office at Ayefele Music House, challenge, Ibadan on Monday said it is a big privilege to be part of such an event where retired football stars and stakeholders in Nigeria will participate. 
The novelty matches billed for the 29th of July 2025 at the football pitch of the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), moniya road between Oyo state ALGON and Fresh FM Nigeria followed by Akinyele living legend and Gbagi Orisun Aje Market will have in attendance, Otunba Seye Famojuro as the Father of the Day, Rt Hon Adebo Ogundoyin as the Chairman of the Day alongside the Executive Chairman, Akinyele Local Government, Honourable Wole Akinyele.
The event which will also be extended to Orbis Oxygen, along moniya road shortly after novelty matches will also have in attendance, 
a prominent Nigerian Fuji musician, actor, and businessman, King Dr Saheed Osupa as a special guest.
Chief Organiser and Fresh 105.9FM Sportscaster, Obadare Oladosu popularly known as 'ObaSports' stressed that the event is not just a football match but an opportunity to re-echo the benefits of physical fitness and exercise to the body. ObaSports noted that regular physical activity increases metabolism, burn more calories and reduce overall body fat, including the fat around the belly.

The delegation made up of 10 players and three officials left the shores of Nigeria via a flight from the international wing of the Muritala Mohammad Airport on Tuesday for Lisbon. Prince Ademola Olawepo Shennowo, President of the fast-growing football academy gave an insight into the programme details.  "The scouting program in Portugal is tagged Club Athlectico Trial and it will run for one month. "Our technical coaching staff have selected the best for the programme after the 10 talents had undergone intense training to develop their football skills and prepare them for the highest level in games and tournaments against other top football academies in and out of Ibadan." OyoSportsNews can exclusively confirmed that Iseyin United have forfeited thier victory over the Asabari Warriors for fielding ineligible player, resulting from passport photograph alteration. In its ruling on Saturday afternoon, after thorough investigation by the Disciplinary Committee of the 2024 Oyo State Jubril Dotun Sanusi Football League, set up by the Oyo State Football Association. The committee has awarded victory to Saki United FC. The Asabari Warriors will now face FC Young Stars International at the final while Iseyin United will face A.A Aztec for the third place match on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Akanran Ibadan.
