▪︎ The 95th edition will gallop off June 9 to 15th, 2025, at Ibadan Polo Club Ground, Eleyele Road, Ibadan. Oyo state 
▪︎ Eighteen [18] teams will be participating in different categories. Teams from Oyo state, Lagos, Rivers, and Katsina state have registered for the seven days competitions.
▪︎ Shoreline Energy International is the headline sponsor, while other sponsors and partners are Bluechip Technologies, MTN, Macadams, Lead City University/Microfinance Bank, Red Couch Limited, Almina Group, 7up, Iwaju Insurance Brokers Ltd, AG Antrimack Limited, Berkshire Lending, Advisory and Investments and Heineken 
▪︎ After 18years, Alima Uku H3 from Katsina will be participating for the first time. Also, Port Harcourt FB9, Port Harcourt Indian Warriors, Team ASR, Lagos, and Ibadan Sunnydo will be featuring for the Ibadan Cup.
▪︎ Games will be live stream on YouTube while results, highlights, and pictures will be updated on Facebook, Instagram, and X App.
▪︎ Uniform security men and bouncers are on the ground to guarantee lives and properties.
▪︎ Tickets are sold online and at the main entrance for N2,000.00
▪︎ Three well-equipped ambulances will be provided for medical purposes.
▪︎ Food, Snacks, Soft Drinks, and many more are available at affordable prices.
▪︎ Hotels Accommodation is available on discount for lovers of the game.
▪︎ DJ, Live band performance, karaoke and many entertainment session will be done to spice up the tournament

The Oluyole Warriors, after their qualification to round 32 early this morning without kicking the ball, following the refusal of Zamfara United FC to show up for the round of 64 fixture at the Area 3 field, Abuja have been expelled from the oldest football competition in Nigeria. In a letter signed by the director for competition, Ruth David, on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation General Secretary. Five players who were not registered with the Nigeria Football Federation for this year edition were fielded in today's match against Zamfara United. AA AZTEC FOOTBALL ACADEMY STORMS PORTUGAL FOR A MONTH SCOUTING PROGRAMME

The delegation made up of 10 players and three officials left the shores of Nigeria via a flight from the international wing of the Muritala Mohammad Airport on Tuesday for Lisbon. Prince Ademola Olawepo Shennowo, President of the fast-growing football academy gave an insight into the programme details.  "The scouting program in Portugal is tagged Club Athlectico Trial and it will run for one month. "Our technical coaching staff have selected the best for the programme after the 10 talents had undergone intense training to develop their football skills and prepare them for the highest level in games and tournaments against other top football academies in and out of Ibadan." OyoSportsNews can exclusively confirmed that Iseyin United have forfeited thier victory over the Asabari Warriors for fielding ineligible player, resulting from passport photograph alteration. In its ruling on Saturday afternoon, after thorough investigation by the Disciplinary Committee of the 2024 Oyo State Jubril Dotun Sanusi Football League, set up by the Oyo State Football Association. The committee has awarded victory to Saki United FC. The Asabari Warriors will now face FC Young Stars International at the final while Iseyin United will face A.A Aztec for the third place match on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Akanran Ibadan.
