The four-day event held in Cario, Egypt between 10th and 14th of January had in attendance nine countries for the cycling championship. Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Algeria, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Mauritius, Benin Republic and Sudan were well represented. Oyo state athlete, Yekeen Tawakalt win overall three medals.
