ORGANIZERS UNFOLD PLANS FOR ILAJI/SWIEQI UTD SCOUTING AND COACHING EDUCATION

Ilaji Football Club Head Coach and Manager Babatunde Odubola has rolled out plans for the second edition of Ilaji FC/Swieqi United FC Scouting and Coaching Education program scheduled between Tuesday, July 11 and Sunday, July 16, 2023.
The program according to the organisers will take place at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resorts, Akanran, Ibadan.
The plans which include online payment and registration, coaching education [Theory and Practical], football management as well as administration, scouting session for players between the ages of 10 to 20, arrangement for accommodation and documentation for selected players.
OyoSportsNews gathered that this year edition will be benefitted by over 70 football coaches as endorsed by Oyo State Football Association and will be handled by Billy Mock, a UEFA A Coach who currently serve as Swieqi United FC Technical Director, with over 20 years coaching experience.
Other facilitators expected in Nigeria from Malta are Pablo Boffo, the Head Coach for Swieqi United Senior Men Team and UEFA A licence Coach and football legend Claude Mattocks - who had won two league title with over 200 appearances in the Maltese Premier League.
"I would like to appreciate coaches that have made payment and called for enquires as regards the program; this year edition will be impactful and rich than the previous edition because our plan is to enlarge the capacity building beyond coaching. The coaching education comes in stages with different facilitators from Malta and all participants will be happy they attend."
He added: "For the scouting session, a club can only register 15 players [starting eleven and four reserves] while club are permitted to register more than one team by forming another set of 15 players with different registration fees. Players between the ages of 10 and 20 years are eligible to participate while there are provisions for free accommodation."

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
