IT'S NOT BUSINESS AS USUAL, RE-ELECTED OYO FA BOSS AFFIRMS

The re-elected Chairman of the Oyo State Football Association [OYSFA], HRM James Odeniran said on Wednesday, shortly after the elective congress held at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resorts that executive committee and football lovers in the state should expect massive improvements most especially in grassroot developmental programmes that will help to discover talents and nurture them to greater heights through youth football competitions.
The Alakinyele of Akinyele in an interview with OyoSportsNews after he was declared winner for chairmanship position for the third consecutive term said the next four years will be totally different from previous years. 
'I feel happy that people consider me fit and to be re-elected as the Chairman of Oyo State Football. Like I said, things will be diffent this around, it is not business as usual. Every executive member must work hard to making sure that we achieve our plans which is based on youth development from the grassroot. Oyo state is known to be a pace setter and we must justify the name, our focus is strictly on grassroot developmental programmes "
"Immediately after we were sworn in, we set up 3-man committee to draw a football plan and template that will guide us. We choose Mogaji Rotimi Alli, Mr Mutiu Adepoju, Comrade Isaac Ayangbile while Mr Kehinde Ojelowo will be the secretary. We expect them to give us comprehensive reports in two months' time and I believe this will direct us."
Oba James Odeniran (FIFA Retired), also promised football loving people of Oyo state that the association under his leadership will continue to support all club representatives at the Nigeria Premier Football League, Nigeria National League, Nationwide League One and other local football council in the state. He also charged Shooting Stars to start preparations early ahead of the Niaja Super 8 starting later this month.
