CROWN FC'S ADEKUNLE MOJEED EXCITED WITH NNL DEBUT

Former Ogbomoso United FC teenager Adekunle Mojeed has expressed his happiness to have made his debut at the just concluded regular season of the 2022/2023 Nigeria National League with Crown FC.
Mojeed fondly called Tevez marked his first appearance for the Ajilete Warriors on matchay one at the Soun stadium when he came off the substitutes bench to replace Solabi Olabode on his league debut with eighteen minutes remaining, becoming the another grassroot player from to make an appearance in the second tier league.
Although Crown FC lost 1-0 at home to Gateway United, the 19 year-old went on to play six matches, mostly from the substitutes bench. He played against Gateway United (home and away), Sporting Lagos, Smart City FC, Joy Cometh FC, and Ijebu United.
“Right now I’m feeling so happy, Mojeed told OyoSportsNews.
“May be I would have got more appearances if the season was not abridged but I'm glad for the opportunity given to me by the head coach. It was a great season especially for my career because National League is far different from Nation-wide League One.”
“I feel blessed to have made my debut and get minutes on the pitch. I just want to thank my family, my friends and everyone at the club who’s helped me to get to this stage. It’s been a tough stage, a long stage, but through hard work and determination I managed to get here.”
“I’m not stopping now. I’m very hungry. I just want to work hard with every chance I get. In training, I just want to impress the coach so I can get back on the pitch when the league starts later this year.”
