Barrister Rotimi Alli, and Comrade Ogunwola Afolabi Omotoso has been re-elected for another four years in office as the Chairmen of Ibadan Local Football Council and Ogbomoso Local Football Council respectively.

In an election conducted last week across various zones of state (Ibadan, Ibarapa, Ogbomoso, Oyo and Oke Ogun). Barrister Rotimi Alli, the incumbent chairman of Ibadan Local Football Council who also doubles as the Mogaji of Ile Alli Balogun Oja'ba Ibadan was unopposed but still had to satisfy the statutory requirement of two-third ‘yes’ vote of the delegates.

In the event held at Olubadan stadium, Mogaji Alli swept all votes cast by the eligible delegates, meaning he will retain the seat for another four years.

In Ogbomoso at the Soun stadium, Comrade Ogunwola Omotoso popularly known as 'Omo Tee' was also unopposed and statutorily satisfied the requirement of the electoral process which enable him retained the chairmanship position he held four years ago.

A former Vice Chairman of Oke-Ogun Local Football Council, Mr Fashola Abayomi defeated Comrade Isaac Ayangbile to emerge Chairman of Oke Ogun Local Football Council.

In Oyo Local Football Council, Mr Sheriffdeen Abisola Oladeji was declared winner while Alhaji Kareem Adegbaye Isiaka also emerge winner and chairman of Ibarapa Local Football Council.

Meanwhile, elections for State Executive Committee will hold tomorrow, May 31st, 2023 at Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort, Akanran.
