Abdulfatahi Sheikh Ahmadu Bolari has retired from football after 13 years with Gombe Warriors FC.
Abdulfatahi played in his final game for boyhood club Gombe Warriors on Friday, having announced his intention to retire before the Nationwide League One play-off.
The Gombe based player would have been disappointed to end up on the losing side after Gombe Warriors FC lost 3-4 to FC Yarmalight.
A statement from Nationwide League One reads:
"The NLO would like to express our deepest appreciation to Abdulfatahi Sheikh Ahmadu Bolari, for his long service in the league while serving Gombe Warriors FC for 13 years as his retirement from football marks the end of an era.

We want to take this opportunity to acknowledge Balori's outstanding contribution to the club and the League at large. As he moves on to the next phase of your life, we wish him all the best, and we hope that he will continue to be involved with the League in some capacity.
Throughout his time with us (NLO) in the league while representing Gombe Warriors FC for 13 years, he was a true professional and an inspiration to many. His dedication, commitment, and hard work have been exemplary, and his presence on the field will be greatly missed."
