The Asabari warriors arrived Saki town yesterday after thier ouster at the Aiteo Cup round of 64 where they were booted out by Katsina United.
The Oyo state champion held Katsina United to a two-all draw but lost 5-4 on penalty shoot-out.
Traditional rulers, government officials, public office holders, fans, market women, articans and students gave their darling club huge welcome.
Encomiums, prayers and words of encouragement were showered on the players led by the club general manager Ajuwon Ibraheem and Coach Iwalewa Qoseem popularly known as 'Walcott'.

His time with the club has now concluded after two years and eleven months. The Oluyole Warriors, after their qualification to round 32 early this morning without kicking the ball, following the refusal of Zamfara United FC to show up for the round of 64 fixture at the Area 3 field, Abuja have been expelled from the oldest football competition in Nigeria. In a letter signed by the director for competition, Ruth David, on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation General Secretary. Five players who were not registered with the Nigeria Football Federation for this year edition were fielded in today's match against Zamfara United.
