CANOE SPRINT: OYO ATHLETE TO REPRESENT NIGERIA

Oyo state para-athlete Temitope Olasupo has been selected to participate in the ICF CANOE SPRINT WORLD Championship tournament holding in Halifax, Canada.
The Canoe Sprint World Championship is scheduled to hold Wednesday 3rd to Sunday 7th August 2022 at Halifax in Canada.
It is an international event in canoe racing one of two summer Olympic sports events organized by the International Canoe Federation.
The World Championship have taken place every non-olympic year since 1970 and officially included para-canoe events since 2010.
Temitope Olasupo, 18, an indigene of Ibadan, Oyo state has participate in 2018 National Sports Festival, Abuja and won Bronze and Silver. Subsequently he partook in the first 2022 para Games in Abuja and won Silver Medal.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
