NPFL23: SHOOTING STARS CLOSE TO APPOINTING NEW HEAD COACH

Shooting Stars are close to appointing a new head coach that would replace embattled boss, Edith Olumide Agoye.
Recall that Edith Agoye led technical crew had a troubled Nigeria Professional Football League 2021/22 season and had to wait for Katsina United result to escape the drop on matchday 38.
Agoye guided Shooting Stars to the Nigeria Professional Football League after four years at the lower division [Nigeria National League].
OyoSportsNews exclusively gathered that negotiations are currently ongoing at the club Jericho office since Monday night and the new coach is expected in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state any moment from now.
But according to a passionate Shooting Stars registered supporter who disclosed to OyoSportsNews on the condition of anonymity on Friday morning, the club management is close to an agreement with a former Sunshine Stars, Giwa FC, Shooting Stars and Rangers International Head Coach.
The source added that a top coach who recently resigned his position from a privately owned club is “almost done”
Efforts to reach any Shooting Stars top officials on the latest development proved abortive as at the time of filing this report.
