OYO FA OPTIMISTIC CROWN WILL SECURE NPFL TICKET DESPITE NORTHERN CONFERENCE GROUPING

The Oyo State Football Association under the leadership of HRM Oba James Odeniran is confident that Oyo state flag bearer at the Nigeria National League, Crown FC of Ogbomoso will secure promotional ticket despite being grouped alongside Northern clubs for the fast approaching new season.
Recall that the Ajilete Warriors were grouped on September 28, 202, at the NLL AGM held in Bauchi with Sokoto United, Sokoto United, Wikki Tourists, Uejele FC, Malantarki Care, ABS FC, Kada FC, and Basira FC.
Oba James Odeniran, the Alakinyele of Akinyele disclosed that the entire elective members are fully behind the management of Crown Football Club and the new gaffer, Ayodeji Ayeni and will do everything possible to help the club secure promotional ticket.
Oba James Odeniran told OyoSportsNews after the 2024 Extra Ordinary Congress at the mini conference hall of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort that the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde has asked for a proposal for the club's activities ahead of the new season which would cater for the expenses to northern states.
He said, “I'm not comfortable when I heard and later saw the groupings, but after my findings, I was made to understand that all clubs representatives agreed to have equal numbers on each group. No doubt, it will be difficult for Crown FC, taking into consideration travelling expenses and miles to cover. However, I can assure you that the state governor [Engr Oluseyi Makinde] has asked the commissioner for sports to present a proposal regarding the club's plan for new season."
"We are totally behind the club and with the new experience coach, Ayodeji Ayeni. The team will secure promotional ticket next season."
