CHIEF DOTUN SANUSI, HRM OBA JAMES ODENIRAN UNVEIL LOGO FOR JDS FOOTBALL LEAGUE

2024 Oyo State Jubril Dotun Sanusi Football League, a new football league featuring over 73 clubs for the play-off preliminary stages across Oyo state and 20 clubs for abridged format scheduled to begin in October 17 2024, on Monday unveiled the league’s official logo.
The new logo, which features the silhouette of a football player attempting an acrobatic kick with a football on the pitch was unveiled yesterday by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort Chief Engineer Jubril Dotun Sanusi alongside the Oyo State Football Association Chairman, HRM Oba James Oluyemi Odeniran at the mini conference hall of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Akanran, Ibadan.
The unveiling event which also featured presentation of giant trophy to thd state football governing body had in attendance elective congress of the Oyo FA, club's chairmen, Sports Journalists, representatives of Nigeria Coaches Association [Oyo State Chapter] player's union and football referees.
The maiden JDS Football League, which will have its opening match at the Ilaji football pitch on October 17 has been announced to cut across Ibarapa, Oke Ogun, Oyo, Ogbomoso and Ibadan.
Speaking at the presentation of trophy and unveiling of the logo, Chairman, Oyo State Football Association, Alakinyele of Akinyele, HRM Oba James Odeniran disclosed that the final four teams(semi finalists) would be branded with JDS jerseys and the competition is strictly for NLO teams and non leaguers. Corroborating him, the Secretary of the Association, Kehinde Ojelowo reeled out the rules and regulations guiding the smooth conduct of the game explaining that medical team, Members of Nigeria Football Referees Association, Recognized media team and all other statutory bodies will play a huge role in the success of the league. 
The Vice Chairman, Oyo State Football Association, Comrade Ayangbile Isaac Olawale on his part thanked the sponsor who doubles as Patron of the state Association and board member of Nigeria National League for his laudable intiatve in building the youths in the state and Nigeria as a whole.
