ERIC SET TO LAUNCH TOE FOOTBALL ACADEMY IN OGBOMOSO

Football fans in Ogbomoso and its environs would in the coming years enjoy good football as TOE Football Academy berths in Oyo state.
Founded by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eric Exchange, Mr Taiwo Oluwafemi Eric, the academy according to a release made available to OyoSportsNews will be officially launched on Saturday, 31st August, 2024 at Shop 10A, Alhaji Tiamiyu complex, Oke Ado Akintola Street, beside high court area, Ogbomoso.
OyoSportsNews in a chat with the TOE Football Academy General Manager, Mr Yekeen Rasheed Aserere Jr, the academy is a long-term programme aimed at developing young talents in a region with a passionate fanbase. Aserere Jr. added that a functioning and competent academy will not only help develop top local talent but also help the make millions in potential transfer fees in Africa and Europe.
Aserere Jr. told OyoSportsNews that TOE Football Academy will also focus on shaping players into exceptional individuals that will add values to the society. The academy's goal is also to create a legacy of integrity, resilience, and community engagement, serving as a guiding light for young football enthuiasts across Africa.
The new football academy, having selected over 45 players from three days open trials for U13, U15 and U17 players will also unveil the coaching and backroom staff as activities begin September 1st 2024.
Affectionately known as “The Golden Soldiers” the academy is inviting stakeholders in the round leather game to attend the Launching and Unveiling event which will start 10am at the club office secretariat.
