June 23rd, 2024 – Uche Ezeala wins the Nigeria Premier Football League with Rangers Football Club International of Enugu.
Rangers Football Club is the Premier League champion once again for the eighth time. Fidelis Ikechukwu’s side had won the title with a game to round off the season. Against Gombe United, the Flying Antelopes confirmed that they are the best in Nigeria with 2-1 away win in Jos. Remo Stars finished in second place, while Enyimba FC finished third. SportingLagos, Doma United, Heartland FC and Gombe United have been relegated.
Amongst the squad that won the league title with Enugu Rangers are former Shooting Stars players, Uche Ezeala and Detan Ogundare.
Uche Ezeala, popularly known as "Oluyole Ramos' while with Shooting Stars made five appearances for the Antelopes in eighteen matches. He left Shooting Stars at the mid-season transfer window after both parties agreed to part ways on mutual agreement. He joined Enugu Rangers in January and less than six months, the reliable defender has become a league champion.
Another league winner with Rangers FC is former Shooting Stars goalkeeper and memeber of Nigeria U20 squad in 2019 Afrian Games, Detan Ogundare. The fantastic goal tender joined Rangers in 2022.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup. Before the final match, Okikiola has been a key player for the club after scoring against Crown FC at Durbar stadium in the semi-final match.
