NNL SECOND STANZA: OLAMIDE ILUPEJU ASSURES FANS OF FORMIDABLE TEAM

General manager of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso Mr Olamide Ilupeju has expressed assurance that the technical crew of the club led by Coach Raheem Tajudeen will provide more formidable squad ahead of the second stanza of the Nigeria National League 2023/24 season.Crown FC are enjoying a purple patch of form earlier of the season and they have amassed 16 points from a possible 30 in ten matches. The Ajilete Warriors are placed third on the group B2 table although they were two points behind table leader's Ikorodu City and a point behind second placed Int'l Lagos FC.
Olamide Ilupeju fondly called 'Ortega' assured that his team will improve their performance in the second half of the campaign and have perfected plans to sign fresh legs that will help them achieve promotion ticket to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Speaking to OyoSportsNews, Olamide Ilupeju said; “For second stanza, all the games are very important for us. Of course, we must take a match one after the other but we must not forget the fact that every match is important to achieving our set goal. We must improve as a team to get three points."
"All the teams will be better in the second round because of the mid-season transfers but our own must be different to achieve the set goals. We have to change some details and prepare well. We also have more options and we have to find the best way forward for the team. We have new players with us now and I'm sure thier inclusion will help us team better."
On the 2nd of March, Crown FC will be up against first placed Ikorodu CityFC in a reserve fixture. The Lagos based side will look to extend thier lead on the log while the Ajilete Warriors will hope to bounce back to winning ways after 3-1 defeat at the first leg.
