The 2024 edition of the Oyo State Federation Cup will feature eleven teams with the defending champions Shooting Stars on bye alongside Crown FC of Ogbomoso.
The event held at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba had in attendance Oyo State Football Association executive members, representatives from all registered clubs, member of Oyo Sate football coaches association, the fourth estate of the realm and other major football stakeholders.
Speaking to newsmen, Chairman, Oyo State Football Association Oba James Odeniran, the Alakinyele of Akinyele thanked all representatives of the participating teams and promised that is edition will be hitchfree across all match venues. He also assured that the association will continue to reward exceptional players in various categories.
After the draws were conducted, Shooting Stars, Crown FC, Ilaji FC, Iseyin United FC and Liberty United were drawn bye to face opponents in the second round.
