OYO FA SET FOR FEDERATION CUP DRAW

The Oyo State Football Association (OYSFA) has announced that draws for the 2023 edition of the Oyo State Federation Cup will take place at the Tennis Court Hall, Lekan Salami Sports Complex,  Adamasingba, Ibadan on Monday, (tomorrow), February 20th, 2023.
Association Secretary, Mr Kehinde Ojelowo in a private chat with OyoSportsNews hinted that no fewer than twenty football clubs from the NPFL, NNL, NLO and grassroots clubs will be participating in this year's edition.
Recall that Saki United emerged Champions at the last edition after beating Oyo State Housing Corporation FC in the final. The Asabari Warriors after beating Shooting Stars via penalties at the semi-final emerged as Champions to win their first ever major title.
Kehinde Ojelowo stressed further that defending Champions, Saki United Football Academy and runners-up, Oyo State Housing Corporation FC and Nigeria Premier Football League side, Shooting Stars will be participating in this year's edition.
Also, Oyo State representative at the second tier league, Crown FC of Ogbomoso, and Nationwide League One side, Ilaji FC will be drawn tomorrow with other clubs in the state.
Other clubs for this year's edition are Cornerstone FC, New Starlets FC, Rehoboth FC and Oyo Alaafin FC, G. Ranking Football Club, Ibadan, Shinning Stars Football Club, Saki, Mocdim Football Club, Ibadan and Ebedi Rocks Football Club, Iseyin.
 A newly launched football club in Iseyin, Iseyin Rocks Football Club will be making her first appearance while Shooting Stars Team B will also make a long return at the state level.  Also, Saki City Football Club, Newcastle Football Club, Grace Football Academy, OMA Football Academy and Golden Sports Football Club will be involved in this year's edition.
Football Administrators, Stakeholders, Coaches, and representatives from each of the twenty registered clubs are expected to converge at the Tennis Court Hall, Lekan Salami Sports Complex,  Adamasingba,  Ibadan by 12noon.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
