The former Warri Wolves and Gateway United FC shot stopper, claims the monthly accolade for the first time, having kept four clean sheet in January 2024. SEYE ADEGBITE FIRES RED-HOT CROWN FC TO FEDERATION CUP SEMI-FINAL

A 75th minute winner from Seye Adegbite saw Crown FC secure a place in the Oyo State Federation Cup semi final with a 1-0 victory over Zion-Liberty FC. The striker smashed home a low strike from a build up from the edge of the box to win the knockout match at Olubadan stadium and grab a place in the semi final for a first time in four years after crashing out last year to Ilaji FC at Durbar stadium, Oyo. It was a performance full of character from Ayodeji Ayeni’s side after picking four points in Lagos against Inter Lagos FC and Smart City FC a few days ago. Both sides had chances, but it was a joyous moment for Seye Adegbite who scored his first goal of season for the Ajilete Warriors. Crown FC of Ogbomoso Technical Adviser, Ayodeji Ayeni has described as untrue, the stories making rounds that he has resigned his appointment prior to his team knockout match against Zion-Liberty FC at the Oyo State Federation Cup. Ayeni took over the technical head of the Ogbomoso based team after he was unveiled on August 28, 2024 by the Oyo state government through the ministry of youth and sports under Honourable Wasilat Adefemi Adegoke at the Oyo state secretariat office. Since his appointment as the technical adviser of the Ajilete Warriors, Ayeni has secured seven points on the road against [Igbajo United FC 0-1, Inter Lagos FC 0-0, and Smart City FC 0-1]. According to the secretary of the Oyo State Football Association, Mr Kehinde Adebayo Ojelowo, representatives from the seven registered clubs, Oyo State Referee Council, Oyo State Football Coaches Association, and major football stakeholders in the state are expected to atend the draw.
