The one day event billed for Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Soun stadium, Ogbomoso will kick-off 2:30pm with live musical performance at the VIP arena and awards presentation. HAJJ 2024: OYE OLOHUN FC CHAIRMAN RETURNS TO NIGERIA

Alhaji Kolawole fondly called 'Oye Olohun' expressed his gratitude to God for the successful trip, and prayed for his family members, staff, players and technical crew of  Oye Olohun FC. Alhaji Kolawole, a passionate football fan and lover of grassroot football who also doubles as the owner of Oye Olohun mini stadium and ultra mini morden market arrived the Airport at about 10:15am local time. He urged Nigerians not to relent in their prayers and prayed for peace, stability and progress of Nigeria. He was received by the wives, neighbours, community leaders, staff and both christians and muslim faithful in his Saki residence.

Rangers Football Club is the Premier League champion once again for the eighth time. Fidelis Ikechukwu’s side had won the title with a game to round off the season. Against Gombe United, the Flying Antelopes confirmed that they are the best in Nigeria with 2-1 away win in Jos. Remo Stars finished in second place, while Enyimba FC finished third. Sodiq Ismail, fondly called 'King of Assist' in the NPFL, joined Ojo Olorunleke of Enyimba FC in Eagles' camp and were part of the squad in Nigeria's 1-1 draw against Bafana Bafana of South Africa and 2-1 loss to Benin Republic. PARIS OLYMPIC: NIGERIA WEIGHTLIFTERS BEGIN INTENSE CAMPING IN ABUJA

Weightlifting President, Dr Ibrahim Abdul Lauds FG on Olympic Preparations Ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games to be held in Paris, France Capital starting next month, Nigeria weightlifters have started intense camping, hoping to conquer the world.  The duo of Lawal Rafiatu Folashade and Eze Joy Ọgbonne are Nigeria's weightlifting flagbearers at the Olympics. Lawal and Eze are the only two weightlifters who qualified for the Olympics following the International Weightlifting Federation, IWF May 2024 Olympic Qualification Rankings released last week. Lawal, 2022 Commonwealth Games and 2023 Africa Games gold medalist qualified for the Olympics in the 59kg women's category after she was ranked 8th with a total of 227kg.  Eze, 2023 Africa Games gold medalist, on her part, was ranked 9th in the 71kg women's category with a total of 239kg. Members of the  Nigeria Boxing Federation, officials, and athletes that will represent Team Nigeria have safely arrived at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort for local camping. Recall that the Boxing Federation camped at the same venue before the last All African Games where they won eight [8] gold and two [2] silver medals.
