Alhaji Kolawole fondly called 'Oye Olohun' expressed his gratitude to God for the successful trip, and prayed for his family members, staff, players and technical crew of  Oye Olohun FC. Alhaji Kolawole, a passionate football fan and lover of grassroot football who also doubles as the owner of Oye Olohun mini stadium and ultra mini morden market arrived the Airport at about 10:15am local time. He urged Nigerians not to relent in their prayers and prayed for peace, stability and progress of Nigeria. He was received by the wives, neighbours, community leaders, staff and both christians and muslim faithful in his Saki residence.

Rangers Football Club is the Premier League champion once again for the eighth time. Fidelis Ikechukwu’s side had won the title with a game to round off the season. Against Gombe United, the Flying Antelopes confirmed that they are the best in Nigeria with 2-1 away win in Jos. Remo Stars finished in second place, while Enyimba FC finished third. Sodiq Ismail, fondly called 'King of Assist' in the NPFL, joined Ojo Olorunleke of Enyimba FC in Eagles' camp and were part of the squad in Nigeria's 1-1 draw against Bafana Bafana of South Africa and 2-1 loss to Benin Republic. Weightlifting President, Dr Ibrahim Abdul Lauds FG on Olympic Preparations Ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games to be held in Paris, France Capital starting next month, Nigeria weightlifters have started intense camping, hoping to conquer the world.  The duo of Lawal Rafiatu Folashade and Eze Joy Ọgbonne are Nigeria's weightlifting flagbearers at the Olympics. Lawal and Eze are the only two weightlifters who qualified for the Olympics following the International Weightlifting Federation, IWF May 2024 Olympic Qualification Rankings released last week.
