MAIDEN ILAJI BOXING TOURNAMENT HOLDS IN IBADAN OCTOBER 28

All is now set for the first edition of Ilaji Boxing Tourna­ment scheduled to hold at Ilaji Mini Stadium, on October 28, 2023.
This is part of efforts to promote and showcase the talents of boxers in Oyo state, Nigeria.
The event one day event is being organized by Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort inconjuction with Ona Ara Boxing Society.
Speaking to OyoSportsNews, Chairman Organising Committee, Mr Adeniyi Olusesan said: "On Thursday, Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort will be hosting boxers for the this year edition of Ilaji Boxing Tourna­ment. Boxers acorss the state will be given opportunities to showcase thier talents. We believed this will help coaches to discover, encourage, train athletes more harder ahead of any tournaments."
The tournament will feature boxers in various categories. Boxers expected are Ibraheem Sheu, Adeniyi Adediran, Akande Olalekan, Lateef Alamun, Tyson Olaiyan, Afeez Akilapa.
Others are; Aisha Adecum, Abdulamid Abiodun, and Ibraheem Ojasope.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
