Smart City FC 0-0 Crown FC
Crown FC over the weekend continued her fine form away from home to keep the promotion play-off alive at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, formerly known as Onikan Stadium though the Ogbomoso based side have their goalkeeper to thank for one point after picking three points at the same venue two weeeks ago against Sporting Lagos.
Despite being second fiddle to Adejare Adeniyi, the Ajilete Warriors goalkeeper for the third time got the nod against Smart City FC after being named as the man between the sticks in the last two matches.
Smart City were desperate for the three points to earn considering thier poor start in the league, but Belema kept them at bay, arguably giving his side the one point with more than five saves.
In total, he has kept two clean sheets in three matches – showing how influential he was in those matches.
Belema told OyoSportsNews after the match: "I'm glad for another clean sheet and the away point and I feel good to have helped the team. It was a tough match but I want thank my team mates for putting up a good fight especially at the second half. I think we should have wont the match with the few chances we had but we are still okay with the one point."
"I won't agree that I did better than others today, the entire team played extremely better; even those on the bench also contributed to the result."
