The Ibadan Soccer Lords were down just ten minutes into the game courtesy of Bala Aliko's fine finish in the box. Effors made by the Oluyole Warriors led by Team Captain Taofeek Malomo were fruitfuless as the Savannah Scorpions went into the halftime with a goal lead. President, Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, has cautioned athletes, against indulging in drug and banned substances. He expressed this while addressing them at the closing ceremony of the National Division One and Two Volleyball League on Saturday October 14, 2023 at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna. The Nigeria Wrestling Federation in conjunction with the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) have commenced a level 3 IOC coaching course for the coaches/Referees of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation (NWF) to help develop the sport in the country.
