2025 FEDERATION CUP: OYO FA SET TO HOLD DRAW TOMORROW

The Seven [7] registered football clubs for the 2025 Oyo State Federation Cup will learn thier path to the trophy at the Final Draw, which is expected to hold at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan on Wednesday, 29th January 2025.
According to the secretary of the Oyo State Football Association, Mr Kehinde Adebayo Ojelowo, representatives from the seven registered clubs, Oyo State Referee Council, Oyo State Football Coaches Association, and major football stakeholders in the state are expected to atend the draw.
The annual football competition in the state will have in attendance general managers and chairmen of clubs and most importantly HRM Oba James Odeniran, the chairman of Oyo State Football Association alongside his executive members.
Four teams from Ibadan, the Oyo state capital are guaranteed to participate in this year edition while a team each from Oyo, Ogbomoso and Saki town have shown thier interest for the much awaited football event.
OyoSportsNews reliably gathered that defending Champions, Ilaji Football Club, alongside Nigeria Professional Football League side, Shooting Stars SC of Ibadan, Crown FC of Ogbomoso, and Nation-wide league side, Oyomesi Football Club from Oyo town will partake in the annual football competition.
Others are Adeyemi Football Club from Ibadan, Zion-Liberty FC, Ibadan while Oye Olohun Travels & Tours FC will be participating in their first ever federation cup at the state level.
Dates, venues, guidelines, rules, and regulations for the competition are expected to be communicated to teams' representatives tomorrow at 12noon.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
