NFF Confirmed Salisu Yusuf as Keshi's Assistant

Former Enyimba and Kano Pillars coach Salisu Yusuf has been confirmed as assistant to Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi.

Yusuf thus replaces former Nigeria star Daniel Amokachi,

Incidentally, Yusuf and Amokachi played together at Ranchers Bees.

Ike Shorunmu has retained his position as goalkeeper trainer.

The delegation made up of 10 players and three officials left the shores of Nigeria via a flight from the international wing of the Muritala Mohammad Airport on Tuesday for Lisbon. Prince Ademola Olawepo Shennowo, President of the fast-growing football academy gave an insight into the programme details.  "The scouting program in Portugal is tagged Club Athlectico Trial and it will run for one month.
